The routine
Cleanse, then cream. That is the whole routine — there is no serum, no toner and no order to memorise.
01 Morning
Cleanse gently, leave the skin slightly damp, then smooth a pea-sized amount over the face and neck. Let it settle before sunscreen. Cream first, sun protection second.
02 Night
The same step, with a slightly fuller layer on the cheeks and any patches that feel tight. No second product on top. Wash your hands afterwards and put the cap back on.
One tube, two steps
If your skin is very dry you will use a little more each time, so a tube may run out sooner — the routine stays the same, only the amount changes.
What is in it
The formula is short on purpose. Every ingredient below is doing one job, and nothing is in the tube just to change how it smells or feels.

Ceramides are the lipids skin already uses to build its barrier. Dry, easily irritated skin tends to have fewer of them, so the cream adds them back — this is the ingredient that does the holding-on-to-water part.
Niacinamide supports the skin's own barrier and helps calm the redness and tightness that come with irritation. It keeps the cream working on how the skin behaves, not only on how it feels in the first minute.
Squalane is a light, skin-identical oil that softens without sitting on top. It carries the cream across the face easily and keeps the finish matte rather than greasy.
Water, glycerin, a mild emulsifier and a preservative so the tube stays clean for the months it takes to finish. That is the full list — no fillers, no fragrance, no colour.
Full ingredients
We list the full INCI declaration on the tube and on the store listing, in the same order the formula is made. If you react to a specific ingredient, check that list against what you already use before buying.
What it leaves out
Fragrance is the most common reason a moisturiser stings already-irritated skin. So the cream has none — and none of the ingredients that usually arrive with it.
No perfume, no "parfum" on the label, and nothing added to cover the smell of the base. The cream smells faintly of its own ingredients and then of nothing at all.
Lavender, citrus and tea tree oils are natural, and they are also common irritants on damaged skin. None of them are here, in any amount.
The formula contains no denatured or drying alcohol, so it does not give that quick evaporating feeling that leaves skin tighter a few minutes later.
If you have reacted to a fragrance-free product before, the culprit is often a preservative or an emulsifier rather than the cream itself. Patch-test first and compare the full ingredient list to what you already tolerate.
Who it is for
Written plainly, so you can tell before you buy whether this is the cream you have been looking for.

Patch-test first
How to patch-test
Apply a small amount twice a day for three days behind the ear or on the inner forearm. If the skin there stays calm, start on the face. Stop if it stings, itches or reddens, and give it a week before deciding the cream is or is not for you.
